Ooh, ooh, I have a story for this one! Here goes! ^^
I sat in front of him, mesmerized, not hearing anything he said. "Are you getting what I'm saying?"
"Huh?" That's all I could manage, he was far too beautiful to be human. There was something behind that face that warned me to stay away, but it wasn't working very well. It was only making me more determined to find out who he was.
"I can't stay with you." Now I understood the melancholy look behind the face. Why should someone like him stay behind with me though? He could have any woman he desired in the world. I was not good enough to even be in the presence of this dark angel, let alone be his girlfriend or whatever he'd call it.
"Can I be human enough to ask why?" His disapproving frown told me that I probably shouldn't have said that.
"I guess you've figured it out. I'm a fallen angel, one wrong move from me and I could kill you, not even meaning to. This could never work."
"Oh." I couldn't say anything else. What was there to say really?
"I wish we could be together. I'll miss you so much." He put a strand of my hair behind my ear and smiled half the way. "I've grown so accustomed to seeing you each day, I'll miss every part of who you are." He sighed and turned away. There was only one thing I could do.
"I know there's no chance of you staying, but can I have one thing before you go?"
"What's that?" He turned back toward me with a funny look. He didn't have a chance at guessing what I wanted.
"Just a kiss." His eyes went wide with rage.
"Did you not hear what I just said?! Fallen angel here! One kiss from me and you die!"
"I know," I whispered, "but I really want that."
"No, I'm not killing you, Meire." I sighed, I figured as much. "I love you far too much to end your life."
"But that's all I ask. I've already been blessed by the angels, I can die happily."
"No." His eyes were giving him away though. He wanted to kiss me, but not kill me.
"Please, just one." I did my best puppy dog pout and he started to walk toward me.
"I better see you again in another life."
"I'll make sure of it." He put his hands on either side of my face and stared into my eyes. We were both nervous, we were going to kill each other. One kiss from me would kill him too because he was fallen.
"I love you," his voice broke and a tear fell from his eye.
"I love you too." I smiled as best as I could and we both leaned forward, meeting each other in death. His lips crushed against mine and I felt my body come toward his. This was our last opportunity. I felt my breath lessen and his as well. He took my hand and we fell backward, falling away from each other, going to separate places.
We were murderers, but we were still good people...
Okayy, the ending was kinda sucky, but I liked the rest of it. I hope the story did the pic justice. ^^
